EdgeIQ is a sports betting analytics platform. We use a machine learning model trained on 14,000+ historical games to find picks with genuine mathematical edge over the market. Every pick comes with full model transparency: edge %, probability, key factors, and line shopping across books.

How are picks generated?

Our XGBoost model calculates the true win probability for each game using 80 to 130+ features including lineup and matchup data, team form, weather, rest days, venue factors, and more. We compare that probability to the vig removed market price from Pinnacle. If the gap is 8% or more, we publish the pick.

What does edge % mean?

Edge % is the difference between our model probability and the vig removed market implied probability. An 8% edge means our model thinks the pick has an 8% higher probability than the market believes. Over a large sample, positive edge picks should produce profit.

What does CLV mean for my bets?

CLV stands for Closing Line Value. After games close, we record whether you beat the final closing price. Positive CLV over a large sample is the most reliable indicator you are finding real edge — more reliable than win rate in the short term.

When are picks published?

By 10 AM ET on game days during the active season. Some days we publish no picks — that means the model found no genuine edge that day. We never pad the slate with marginal picks.

Currently MLB (baseball). NFL coverage is in development and scheduled before the 2026/27 season. NBA and NHL are on the roadmap for Pro subscribers.
